Dates:


  • Last date to apply- 4th June 2018
  • Tier 1 examination - 25th July to 28 August 2018
  • The dates of the Tier 2 and tier 3 and tier 4 exams is not yet notified.

Scheme of the examination:

Tier 1 and Tier 2 are Computer Based examinations. While tier 3 is a pen and paper exam that is descriptive paper entire for his computer proficiency test / skill test / verification of documents.

Scheme of the Tier 1 examination:


  1. General Intelligence and reasoning - 25 questions - 50 marks
  2. General awareness - 25 questions - 50 marks
  3. Quantitative aptitude - 25 questions - 50 marks
  4. English comprehension - 25 questions - 50 marks

The time allowed for Tier 1 examination is 60 minutes. There will be no sectional timing.


Scheme of the Tier 2 examination:


  1. Paper 1: Quantitative abilities - 100 questions - 200 marks
  2. Paper 2: English language and comprehension - 200 questions - 200 marks
  3. Paper 3: Statistics - 100 questions - 200 marks
  4. Paper 4: General studies( finance and economics) - 100 questions - 200 marks

In Tier 2 examination each paper will be given 120 minutes.

Negative marking:


  1. Tier 1: 0.50 marks for each wrong answer
  2. Tier 2:
    1. Paper 2: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
    2. Paper 1, Paper 3 and paper 4: 0.50 marks for each wrong answer

In Tier 2 paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory for all the post. Paper 3 will be for only those candidates who apply for the post of junior Statistical Officer. And paper 4 will be for only those candidates who applied for the post of assistant audit officer / assistant Accounts Officer.

Scheme of tier 3 examination:

Tier 3: Pen and paper mode- descriptive paper in English or Hindi - hundred marks - 60 minutes
It includes writing of essay / precis / letter / application
